A windshield is a structural part of your car — it supports the roof in a rollover and gives the passenger airbag something to push against. That’s why we don’t cut corners on the install. Every replacement at Tigris uses DOT-certified glass matched to your exact make, model and options, bonded with an OEM-approved urethane, and cured for the full safe-drive-away time before you leave.

Our certified techs remove the damaged windshield, prep the frame and set the new glass with fresh urethane. Most cars take 60–90 minutes.
The adhesive cures for the safe-drive-away window while we recalibrate any forward-facing cameras. Then you’re back on the road.
A chip smaller than a quarter that isn’t in your line of sight can usually be repaired. Anything larger, a crack longer than about six inches, damage at the edge of the glass, or two or more cracks that meet means the windshield has lost its structural integrity and should be replaced. Most comprehensive policies in California cover windshield replacement, and many carry a $0 glass deductible. We work directly with State Farm, GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, Farmers, USAA, AAA and Mercury: you give us your policy number, we file the claim and bill the insurer, and you don’t pay out of pocket beyond any deductible your policy sets.
We recommend the shop at 1054 El Camino Ave when we can — it’s climate-controlled, which matters for urethane cure times, and it’s where our ADAS calibration equipment lives.
